Just a few days ago it was announced that Constantin Film would reboot the Resident Evil franchise.. Now we have learn horror master James Wan has signed on to produce the rebooted franchise from a script by Greg Russo.. The film does not have a director as of yet or a cast.. Greg Russo is currently working on the new Mortal Kombat film as well..
Back in January Paul W.S. Anderson wrapped up his trilogy of films with "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter".. The film flopped at the North American box office, but it made a shit ton of cash overseas..
I'm hoping the new film will focus on the storyline of the first game released way back in 1996..
